I was thinking more old-school than the text-to-speech feature. The cool thing is you can type a phrase and have it immediately output to a.wav or other audio file at different resolutions. It needs to have the sound card to operate - it accesses a speech synthesis chip on the sound card. I would love to move away from the old setup if I could and just have a program that could do singing text without any special hardware. I use it lots and is great.
